The project has its goal to receive over 100,000 business entries for nominations and have over 1,000,000 Nigerians Vote for their preferred business and talk about the campaign and product a report of the Top 100 Businesses in Nigeria.
The Award of the Top 100 Businesses is open to all Nigerian start-ups and Emerging SMEs (Businesses owned by Nigerians and operated in Nigeria). Only SMEs and businesses listed on the ConnectNigeria online portal will be eligible to participate.
Selection of the Top 100 Businesses will take the form of a polls were members of the public can nominate their preferred SMEs after which shortlisted candidates will be voted for.
The final step will be a Panel session where select experienced professionals and key business leaders will shortlist the final 100 across 25 business segments based on pre-selected criteria's.
