About the Top 100

The Top 100 Business is an initiative powered by ConnectNigeria (Nigeria’s No. 1 SME online search portal).

It is aimed at recognizing and celebrating the achievements of Emerging SME businesses powering the growth of the Nigerian economy.

This annual recognition is expected to present as its final product an unbiased and authentic list of Top 100 businesses in Nigeria with particular focus on the start-ups, and growing businesses based on extensive research of 28 key industries segments.

Objectives

This initiative has as its objectives the following:

TKo identify and celebrate the contributions of Nigerian SMEs making giant strides in their respective Business segments.
To serve as an opportunity for SMEs and Emerging Business to reevaluate their business processes and models in other to better position themselves to compete favorably both locally and internationally.
Enhanced visibility for already existing members of the Connect Nigeria SME Business Portal.

Goals

The project has as its goal to receive over 100,000 business entries for nominations and have over 1,000,000 Nigerians Vote for their preferred business and talk about the campaign and product a report of the Top 100 Businesses in Nigeria.
